Our client, a global leader in data center operations, is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Manager to take ownership of site performance and reliability. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a talented on-site team.
As the Manager Data Center, you will be responsible for all local maintenance, upgrades, expansion projects, and customer service activities. You’ll ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, optimize energy efficiency, oversee incident management, and maintain the highest levels of service delivery. A key part of the role will also be people leadership — coaching, training, and developing your team to deliver consistently high results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day operations, maintenance, and customer service across the site(s)
* Ensure compliance with governance, Health & Safety, and industry standards (SOC/ISO)
* Drive operational efficiency with a focus on sustainability and infrastructure excellence
* Manage and develop a high-performing team
* Oversee incident management, site documentation, and multi-year maintenance planning
* Provide technical input for capacity planning and site expansion projects
1. What We’re Looking For:
* Strong experience in mission-critical M&E environments (Data Centers preferred)
* Proven track record in technical facilities management and maintenance governance
* Solid experience managing direct and indirect reports
* Familiarity with monitoring & maintenance systems (Excel or bespoke tools)
* ITIL/ServiceNow knowledge is a plus
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
