Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Bristol office.

As Data Analyst, your strong data modelling expertise will support the development and delivery of high-quality analytical solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll work closely with data product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, design logical and physical data models, and deliver insights that drive strategic decision-making.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Engage with stakeholders to collect business requirements and translate them into clear data and technical specifications.
2. Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with the Group Data Model.
3. Collaborate with data engineers to implement models effectively in cloud-native environments (e.g., GCP).
4. Analyse and map data from source systems to target solutions, ensuring lineage, integrity, and governance documentation (metadata, business rules).
5. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across models and datasets to support reporting, analytics, and data products.
6. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

What you’ll need:
7. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); GCP Professional certification is a plus.
8. Proven skills in data analysis using SQL, Python, or similar tools, and confirmed expertise in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) with tools like ER/Studio.
9. Practical experience in data mapping, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration, plus understanding of cloud data platforms and modern data architectures.
10. Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Looker.
11. Experience working in agile teams, delivering iteratively, and communicating complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
