Inspire the Next Generation of Female Scientists in a Leading Brent School A dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher with a passion for Physics is required for a temporary full-time position at an Outstanding girls' school in Brent, commencing as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-achieving school dedicated to empowering young women in STEM fields and fostering a deep understanding of the physical world. Responsibilities * You will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons with a focus on Physics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), igniting their curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject. * The role involves expertly guiding students through fundamental physical concepts, conducting stimulating experiments, and demonstrating the real-world applications of physics. * You will cultivate a supportive and challenging learning environment where girls feel confident to explore scientific ideas, ask questions, and develop their analytical skills. * You will assess and monitor student progress with care, providing constructive feedback that encourages their scientific development and builds their confidence in physics. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background is essential. * Experience teaching engaging and effective Science lessons with a focus on Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable. * A deep and current understanding of physical principles, coupled with the ability to make the subject accessible and inspiring for girls, is expected. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to manage practical experiments safely and effectively, are vital.
