This role is based at one of our delivery locations, requiring experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse and transport operations.
Responsibilities
* Lead your team to ensure efficient, safe trading within legal constraints, and uphold high customer service standards.
* Manage delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
* Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and set challenging goals to minimize payroll costs.
* Understand the local market to provide the best possible service and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Manage your team effectively to meet customer service needs, engaging with customers and using feedback for continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop or enhance operational practices.
Minimum requirements
* Previous experience in deliveries and transport management.
* Management CPC certification.
* Experience managing warehouse operations.
* Strong customer engagement skills and relationship-building ability.
* Ability to develop new ideas and challenge teams to improve service.
* Talent identification and team development skills.
* Motivational skills to foster a customer-centric culture.
