This opportunity sits on a flagship project in Euston, forming part of a wider programme of complex urban infrastructure works. This contractor operates across water, transport, energy and the built environment, with a strong pipeline of secured frameworks and a reputation for self-delivery, technical excellence and high safety standards. The Role As Senior Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across key civils packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with quality and programme expectations. You’ll play a critical role in both delivery and team development, acting as the technical point of contact on site while supporting and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities Establish and manage survey control, overseeing all setting out activities on site Lead on Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Management processes Ensure works are delivered safely, in line with specification and programme requirements Support and deputise for the Site or Sub Agent where required Manage and mentor Site Engineers and trainees, supporting their development Carry out quality checks, inspections and technical assurance across works Support procurement through material take-offs and technical input Prepare method statements, risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks Coordinate as-built records and handover documentation Attend design, coordination and pre-commencement meetings with stakeholders What We’re Looking For Proven experience in setting out on civil engineering projects (infrastructure, highways or RC works) Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) CSCS Card and SMSTS Strong working knowledge of QA processes, ITPs and documentation Experience using AutoCAD and standard surveying equipment Ability to manage engineering activities with minimal supervision Strong communication skills, confident working with both site teams and clients Why Apply?
