KEY ACTIVITIES - To be trained in and carry out Quality Inspection activities including: - Review of incoming product traceability documentation and certification, - Performing dimensional inspection using variety of inspection devices, - Preparing inspection reports, - Writing-up and processing Non-conformance Reports and Concession Requests, - Maintaining Calibration of inspection and test devices (VH), - Assist Engineering and QHSSE with root cause investigation of faults and R&D development, - Carry out other position or department relevant duties as assigned by Lead Quality Engineer or QHSSE Manager. INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES - Demonstrate strong commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding internal and customer expectations. - Actively report quality shortcomings and opportunities for improvement and participate in company QHSE initiatives. - Demonstrate personal commitment to assurance of health, safety and protection of the environment, including compliance with and promotion of Life Saving Rules and Stop Job Authority and active participation in risk management processes. - Follow company QHSE Management System procedures of all levels, as applicable. QUALIFICATIONS Essential: N/a Preferred: ISO9001 internal auditor, API Q1 practitioner or auditor EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE Essential: - Minimum 1 year of oil and gas workshop based work experience, - Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, - Strong documentation skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Preferred: - Any experience in QC inspection using measuring devices and techniques in a manufacturing environment - Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards - Manufacturing/Quality background in precision machined components - ISO9001 and API Q1 background - Warehouse and stock control in a manufacturing environment - ERP system (experience/exposure) PERSONAL QUALITIES - Ability to plan, control and take responsibility for own work and related decisions - Problem solving approach and proactive attitude - Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and good teamwork skills - Strong ability to perform well under pressure of a high and varied workload, tight deadlines and changing job priorities - Attention to detail in all aspects of the job role
