A leading global speciality chemicals distributor is seeking a Supplier Manager for their Beauty & Personal Care division. In this commercially-focused role, you will manage key supplier relationships, drive commercial growth, and provide technical expertise across the UK & Ireland, working from home with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with Key Principal suppliers in the UK
2. Promote and sell the raw material/ingredient portfolios into UK customers
3. Deliver technical expertise, training and product insight to internal teams and clients
4. Identify and convert new commercial opportunities with sales teams
5. Oversee stock, purchasing and working capital to meet commercial targets
6. Analyse data, prepare sales reports, and present insights to stakeholders
7. Support product campaigns, market mapping and digital marketing initiatives
8. Champion commercial strategy, ensuring product lines meet revenue and margin goals
Candidate Requirements:
9. Strong commercial and technical background in the UK Beauty Market
10. Proven relationship‑builder with confident supplier and customer‑facing skills
11. Chemistry/business degree or demonstrable chemical sector experience
12. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
