Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Nurse to work on a job share basis as part of the Aberdeen City Community Learning Disability Team to achieve positive and effective health outcomes for people who have learning disabilities and complex health needs.
Qualifications
* 1st level Registered Learning Disability Nurse
* Experience working in inpatient and community settings
* Evidence of knowledge and experience delivering evidence-based interventions
* Good knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to people with learning disabilities
* Evidence of advanced communication skills
* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team (advantageous)
* Professional leadership skills and ability to lead innovation through change, including service development
* Current full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
Responsibilities
* Provide evidence-based interventions for people with learning disabilities and complex health needs
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver care plans
* Demonstrate professional leadership and contribute to service improvement and innovation
* Advocate for clients and ensure their health outcomes are positive and effective
