Onsite Account Coordinator - Gi Group, Scunthorpe

Hours: Full time, site-based 06:00-14:30

About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive Onsite Account Coordinator to support the Account Manager/Senior Account Manager and onsite team to deliver exceptional service to our client. You’ll manage the day-to-day administration of temporary labour, support onboarding and payroll, maintain accurate records, and build strong relationships with site stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and high worker satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
Support the Account Manager with daily site activities and administrative tasks.
Manage temporary workforce processes: onboarding, inductions, starters and leavers, absence management, return-to-work interviews and terminations.
Process weekly payroll data accurately and meet payroll deadlines.
Allocate labour effectively to meet client demand and skill requirements; perform daily check-ins and monitor performance against KPIs.
Resolve worker and client queries (holiday, pay, attendance) and escalate complex issues appropriately.
Ensure right-to-work checks are completed and all documents are ready for payroll and inductions.
Place adverts, screen candidates, manage interview/induction diaries and register new temporary staff.
Provide out-of-hours mobile cover for no-shows and urgent site needs.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Account team.
Essential skills & experience:
Strong administrative ability with excellent attention to detail.
Proven customer-service mindset and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Good organisation, time-management and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Basic IT literacy (Microsoft Office); comfortable learning and using HR/ATS and payroll systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in recruitment, temporary workforce management, or on-site account support is highly desirable.
