Job Summary
As Product Marketing Senior Specialist, you’ll execute the go‑to‑market plans and rationalization strategies in the region, working with local marketing teams and supply chain to bring new products to market and withdraw heritage products in line with regional strategies outlined by the Myopia, 1 Day and FRP marketing managers. You’ll be responsible for reviewing free and trial lens usage, identifying opportunities to help CooperVision and customers become more efficient with trials, and driving revenue lens sales. You’ll work closely with local, regional and global brand marketing managers, and global and regional supply chain and demand managers, to help ensure the availability of our products to our customers, understand and influence the Supply & Operational Process (S&OPs) on behalf of the regional marketing team, and represent regional marketing to gather information for global and EMEA S&OP calls and disseminate to local teams. The Product Marketing Senior Specialist will support regional Myopia, 1 Day and FRP teams with financial and competitor intelligence and reporting. Leading and directing the competitor intelligence team, they will work with local markets to capture competitor information and bring insights to the regional team on competitor activity. A requirement for this role is to develop strong relationships with global, regional and local colleagues in many departments across the business. A good understanding of marketing, basic finance, logistics and LCM is required.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
* Product Management
o Lead regional projects which support reduced trials use in customers.
o Investigate and identify where free lenses are being used. Put in place plans to reduce the supply of free lenses.
o Support local market product launches, executing go‑to‑market plans.
o Support local market product discontinuations, executing rationalization plans.
o Work with local teams to investigate opportunities for improved product management and collaborate on initiatives that can be replicated elsewhere.
o Deliver quarterly performance reports across the portfolio including sales analysis, trial productivity and financial KPIs.
* Demand Management
o Deliver marketing manager demand management updates to local teams as part of the S&OP process.
o Deliver S&OP marketing summary to regional leadership for review and consideration.
o Influence local market teams to execute activities that support demand/growth management.
* Competitor Intelligence
o Lead the regional competitor intelligence team, gathering and disseminating competitor intelligence to local, regional and global stakeholders.
o Create and execute simple mechanisms for markets to feed information.
o Ensure competitor intelligence is gathered in legal and responsible manner.
* Marketing Management
o Deliver brand/category campaigns as appropriate.
Experience / Education
* Essential minimum of five years’ experience in marketing
* Strong understanding of business processes
* Experience of working with international teams strongly preferred
* Experience in healthcare is a plus but not essential
* Experience of monitoring and reviewing financials vs. budgets
