Job Description
3. Manage the full project lifecycle financially including budget setup, monitoring, forecasting and reporting
4. Ensure all project accounting is in compliance with company policies and accounting standards (IFRS15)
5. Liaise effectively with various project stakeholders to establish and implement best practices for project financial tracking, analysis and reporting
6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and design/deliver training sessions to both the Project Accountants and Project Managers on best practices
7. Create and maintain a collaborative link with the financial accounting team to support cash forecasting, budget preparation and financial planning
8. Prepare and present comprehensive project financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing key insight and analysis
9. Ensure all project accounting activities are audit-ready and support internal/external audits as required
10. Management of a small team, providing regular support and training
The Successful Applicant
11. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience
12. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and procedures
13. Previous experience in project accounting and knowledge of project management methodologies (highly preferred)
14. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
15. Demonstrated ability to manage and develop finance teams
16. Highly proficient with Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
