We're looking for a Senior Account Manager who is commercially astute, customer-obsessed, and eager to make a measurable impact.

Purpose of the role:
You will take ownership of key customer relationships, ensuring they are nurtured, strengthened, and commercially successful. You'll drive profitable growth by developing new business opportunities while maximising value from current accounts.
With a focus on customer success, you'll ensure expectations are not only met but exceeded. You'll support the Head of Customer Success in shaping strategic objectives, focusing on performance, partnership, and long-term growth.
Work will be a mix of home, Dee Set offices, and client sites — spending at least 3 days per week at Dee Set head office or client offices in Leeds.
Key Objectives:
* Own and grow a portfolio of high-value retail accounts, ensuring delivery and success.
* Lead a team of Account Managers to build confidence, commercial acumen, and leadership skills.
* Build deep client partnerships through proactive, responsive engagement aligned with client goals.
* Drive profitable growth, exceeding KPIs in sales, margin, and satisfaction.
* Develop customer strategies, partnering with clients to enhance category performance and ROI.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to adapt to requirements and improve service.
* Ensure all customer briefs are invoiced and tracked properly.
* Follow Quality Systems and procedures in line with Dee Set standards.
Skills/Experience Required:
* Leadership capability — leading teams, coaching, and driving success.
* Strategic thinking — big-picture view, anticipating challenges, planning long-term.
* Analytical skills — interpreting data to inform decisions.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Problem-solving ability — calm under pressure, proactive.
* Financial literacy — understanding P&L, margins, forecasting.
* Proven client relationship building based on trust and performance.
* Experience in retail or account management (desirable).
* Time management and prioritisation skills.
