Were looking for an experiencedPlant Mechanicto join a long-standing and respected family-owned business that maintains and repairs a wide range of construction and manufacturing equipment, such as shredders, trommels, crushers, skips, and more. If you have a strong mechanical background and take pride in keeping machinery running at its best, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role:
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant and machinery
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
* Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
* Keep accurate service records and report on completed work
About You:
* Proven experience as a Plant/HGV Mechanic, Fitter, or similar role
* Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
