Head of HR
Full-time/ open to part-time (3 days per week)

£55,000–£65,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to make a significant impact. You’ll work in partnership with senior leadership to drive engagement, shape people strategy, and build effective HR policies and processes that support future ambitions. The role requires a proactive approach to HR leadership, strong prioritisation skills, and an ability to contribute to a close-knit, agile team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a comprehensive, generalist HR service across the organisation
* Provide day-to-day HR advice and support and build robust relationships across all levels
* Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new staff
* Lead the monthly payroll process
* Design and support training and development initiatives, including statutory and mandatory requirements
* Coordinate the annual performance and salary review processes
* Advise on and help resolve employee relations matters
* Review, develop, and communicate HR policies and ensure legal compliance
* Create and implement a people strategy that champions engagement, inclusion, and retention
* Develop strategies for succession planning and career progression
* Support the preparation and presentation of reports and data for the executive board
* Help foster a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
About You
* Demonstrated ability to operate independently while also collaborating with key stakeholders
* Strong leadership and first-class communication and relationship management skills
* Sound understanding of UK employment law and confident dealing with complex ER cases
* Proven track record of driving positive organisational change and workplace culture
