Graduate Teaching Assistant September 2025 – July 2026 £81–£101 per day Location: Ward of Yardley 1:1 and small group support through the national curriculum The Role As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with pupils who need extra support to access the national curriculum. This could be through 1:1 tuition, small group interventions, or in-class support across subjects like English, maths and science. You’ll help deliver differentiated tasks, manage behaviour positively, and track pupil progress alongside class teachers and the SEN team. The Candidate You’re a graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in education. You may be exploring routes into teaching, psychology, or pastoral support. You’ll need to be proactive, reliable and able to build positive relationships with children quickly. Any experience working with young people—in schools, tutoring, mentoring or youth work—is highly valued.
