Remote Opportunity based in any of the following locations:

* Dallas, TX
* Denver, CO
* Kansas City, MO
* Minneapolis, MN


Position Summary:

The Territory Sales Manager will lead strategic business development to grow water tank sales, improve processes, provide technical support, and collaborate with the design/engineering team to develop water tank storage solutions. The territory includes AR, CO, IA, KS, LA, MN, MO, ND, NE, NM, OK, SD, and TX.


Responsibilities:

1. Sales: Achieve and surpass sales and margin targets within the assigned territory. Build and maintain a sales funnel in CRM, develop distribution networks, and manage pricing and bidding opportunities.
2. Business Development: Generate new business opportunities, project conversions, and product approvals with agencies and engineers. Conduct daily outreach to engineering firms, municipalities, developers, and regulators to promote Xerxes water tanks. Provide educational training through face-to-face meetings, lunch and learns, and promotional activities.
3. Strategic Planning: Monitor market trends and competitors, identify opportunities and threats, and develop a territory growth plan. Participate in monthly sales forecasting.
4. Travel: Responsible for outside sales across a large geographic area, requiring frequent overnight travel (up to 50% in the US and 1-2 times a year in Canada).


Requirements:

* College degree, preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
* 3-7 years of related experience, with a preference for 5-7 years.
* Strong background in sales or engineering of related engineered products.
* Experience with tanks, pumps, fire protection, water/wastewater systems, or similar products is highly preferred.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proven sales success and technical expertise.
* Strategic and business planning abilities.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% within the US and 1-2 times annually in Canada.
