Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with an inspiring Autism & SEMH specialist school in Crawley, West Sussex, to recruit a SEN Primary Teacher to join their team in September 2025.
The School: This warm and inclusive school caters for primary-aged pupils (5-11) with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment where every child is supported holistically to thrive academically and emotionally.
The Role: Full-time SEN Primary Teacher
Deliver engaging, adapted lessons tailored to each child’s EHCP
Foster emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Collaborate closely with therapists, support staff, and parents Who We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential (Strong unqualified teachers with a solid background in SEND will also be considered)
Proven experience or a genuine passion for working with Autistic learners and SEMH
Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and inclusive pedagogy
Strong communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach
