Robert Half is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join a leading organisation within the manufacturing and sector on an interim basis.
This is a hands on role, reporting directly to the Finance Director, where you will take ownership of group management accounts, lead month end processes, and provide guidance to a junior finance team.
Rochdale / Oldham.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts to tight deadlines.
* Deliver accurate reporting and financial analysis to support decision-making.
* Lead, mentor, and support junior finance team members to ensure high performance and development.
* Work closely with the Finance Director to streamline reporting processes and enhance financial controls.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Assist with ad hoc projects, reconciliations, and financial reviews as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong technical accounting skills with experience in group consolidations and management reporting.
* Proven track record of leading and developing junior team members.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
* Availability to start at short notice and commit to a 3 month contract.
