What Youâll Do
The post holder will work as a member of the Finance team with responsibility for accurate monthly and weekly invoicing to local authorities, NHS and private customers and resolving any billings queries.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Resolving inbox queries from service managers, local authorities, and families
2. Creating bespoke weekly sheets to meet service requirements
3. Liaising with local authorities/service managers/team co-ordinators to obtain the correct information needed to invoice
4. Raising support invoices from weekly operations sheets
5. Querying unusual items or significant changes with service managers
6. Adding notes in NetSuite for upcoming changes
7. Populating and returning local authority schedules/portals in a timely manner
8. Ad hoc billing from reports including mileage.
9. Invoicing credit card and supplier invoice recharges
10. Working to pre-determined month end deadlines
11. Running and distributing month end income reports
12. Setting up and closure of customer accounts in NetSuite
13. Updating fees annually for uplifts
Other responsibilities
14. Participate in team meetings
15. Participation in departmental continuous improvement

Experience and skills
20. 3 years plus experience of working in a Finance Team environment
21. Good Excel skills
22. Meticulous attention to detail
23. Social care finance experience preferred
24. NetSuite experience desirable but not essential
25. Excellent interpersonal skills
26. Strong written and verbal communication skills
27. Proactive and collaborative attitude
