Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Workforce Planning and Data Analyst to join our HR team. This role will create and utilise tools and analytics to ensure Aztec’s workforce is aligned with the company's strategic goals. The successful candidate will support the Talent & Growth team utilizing strategic workforce planning tools to perform workforce forecasting and provide comprehensive data analytics for evidence-based decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
1. Create and refine strategic workforce plans aligned with organizational goals.
2. Assist in implementing workforce plans and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting as needed.
3. Support SWP team in executing full end-to-end workforce planning, including stakeholder meetings, data analysis, and presentation of findings.
4. Understand organizational capability shifts and provide a forward-looking view of Aztec's workforce for the next 2, 3, 5+ years.
5. Align with relevant frameworks and data (e.g., skills taxonomy, job architecture).
6. Establish supply and demand talent and skill forecasts using internal and external data sources.
7. Identify critical roles, competencies, and functions for strategy execution.
8. Analyze skills gaps, workforce risks, and market opportunities to inform talent strategies.
9. Collaborate with Talent Team to provide gap analysis, risk, and opportunity data for talent development and acquisition strategies.
10. Conduct complex quantitative and qualitative analyses on labor market trends and workforce implications.
11. Develop reports, manage timelines, and coordinate stakeholder input to optimize planning processes.
12. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators.
13. Lead operational activities, including budget and project oversight.
14. Support broader talent management efforts and report to HR and business leaders.
15. Work closely with HR professionals and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
16. Stay informed about industry trends in workforce planning.
Skills, experience, and expertise:
* Knowledge of SWP tools, especially Workday SWP capabilities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools like Power BI, statistical software, etc.
* Strategic thinking to derive insights from complex data.
* Experience with predictive modeling using R or Python is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
* Understanding of business operations and industry trends.
* Knowledge of project management principles.
* Familiarity with HR systems and relevant software.
