Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs?
Schools in Dinnington and GSL Education are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored classroom support to pupils with special educational needs.
As a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with students who may require additional support with learning, communication, or behaviour. You will help create a positive and inclusive environment where pupils feel supported, engaged, and encouraged to achieve their potential.
Key Duties:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEN pupils.
* Assist students with learning activities and classroom tasks.
* Support the implementation of individual education plans.
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting SEN pupils or in a similar role.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Good understanding of safeguarding practices.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
