We are looking for a pricing practitioner, with experience in the UK and French general insurance markets mainly in personal lines commercial lines experience is considered a plus, to join Willis Towers Watson ICT Consulting as a consultant in our general insurance pricing practice to help us develop our pricing advisory capability in UK and support our Paris office. You will work beside some of the market’s top thought members designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to pricing and underwriting challenges faced by the world’s top general insurers and intermediaries.
In your role you will be helping our broad set of pricing clients by:
1. Delivering best in class pricing and underwriting capability reviews
2. Helping to build effective pricing models, tools and processes using a wide range of data science techniques
3. Designing and building sophisticated MI and portfolio management capabilities
4. Leveraging your market knowledge in developing cutting edge pricing solutions in collaboration with various teams from across Willis Towers Watson
Responsibilities:
5. To build a market profile as a representative and advocate of Willis Towers Watson pricing consulting services and technology solutions
6. Manage substantial work streams in large projects, with responsibility for communication with clients and the day-to-day running of projects
7. Work collaboratively on a range of projects / internal responsibilities and manage priorities appropriately
8. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of client work
9. Be involved in a variety of work to ensure a broad skill set (technical, management and client) is maintained and developed
10. Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues
11. contribute to the development of the company’s intellectual capital including plans for taking this to market
12. Develop and present proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the economic value of the company’s offerings
13. Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
14. Serve as line manager or mentor to more junior associates
Please note this role can be based in either Reigate or London, and will require flexibility from the successful candidate to travel between these locations as well as to Paris if necessary.
