A local council in Lincolnshire is urgently seeking a skilled Homelessness Prevention Officer to support its Housing Options team. If you're driven, solutions focused, and confident working with households in temporary accommodation, this role needs you.
Responsibilities
* Move applicants from temporary accommodation into safe, stable housing
* Shape effective bidding strategies and PRS options
* Ensure statutory duties are met and cases progress quickly
* Negotiate affordable rents and maintain clear case records

You understand homelessness legislation, thrive in fast‑paced casework, communicate clearly, and know how to guide people toward the right housing pathway.
Position Details
* Temporary, 3‑month long contract
* Hybrid working (2 office days per week)
* Up to £27 per hour
* Part‑time: 2 days per week
