Known for its strong regional roots, modern working culture, and outstanding reputation, this firm offers a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and award-winning legal practice.The RoleThe successful candidate will join a well-established team working on a wide range of non-contentious construction matters. The team advises clients across the UK and internationally, including funders, developers, contractors, consultants, and sub-contractors on complex and high-value construction and infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities:
* Advising on and negotiating standard form contracts (including NEC and JCT), professional appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees and bonds
* Supporting clients through all stages of construction projects
* Assisting with business development and building client relationships
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:
* At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law
* Strong knowledge of industry-standard documentation (NEC, JCT, etc.)
* A proactive, commercial approach with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
* An interest in developing their own practice and contributing to team growth
