Office Assistant, Faculty Development – $8.00/hour


Position Summary

This position will assist office personnel with research, marketing, annual reports and special events pertaining to the Office of Faculty Development, The Boyer Center, Teaching and Learning, Christian Faith and Academic Vocation, and New Educator Orientation.


Key Responsibilities

* Perform office duties such as creating PowerPoint presentations, website edits, designing posters, flyers and invitations
* Assist with programs and events
* Research topics related to Faculty Development
* Make copies, prepare, and print documents
* Assist the Dean for Faculty Development and other Faculty Development leaders with various projects and reports
* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
* Be responsive to emails and other communications
* Commit to the work of assigned projects and follow through until completion

Preferred:

* Strong written and communication skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Experience with Adobe and Canva


Position Details

Department: Office of Faculty Development (2044)

Campus: Main Campus (Grantham)

Supervisor: Elise Buchanan

Hours: 10 per week (scheduled based on availability during office hours)

Duration: Fall, Spring (Academic Year 2025-26)
