Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Working within the Project Delivery engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
* Installing security systems to a high standard.
* Comply with company procedures and H&S policies.
* Collaborate with customers and project managers during installations.
* Support junior engineers, and run small works autonomously.
* Complete project-related paperwork timely.
Required Skills and Knowledge
* Background in technical security systems (CCTV, IDS, PIDS, AACS, Intercoms etc.).
* Experience in cable installation (LV, ELV, data cabling (copper & fibre optic).
* Proficient in first and second fix tasks (e.g., conduit/containment, edge devices fixing, cable termination).
* Ability to learn new systems and technologies.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
* IT literate.
* UK driving licence.
Desirable Knowledge
* Minimum 4 years' experience within the technical security industry.
* Background in electrical engineering with relevant qualifications (e.g., City and Guilds, IEE 18th Edition).
* Knowledge of IP networking.
* Experience working with Gallagher, Genetec, C-Cure, Synectics, Axis, Bosch, Honeywell, Texecom, Hanwha.
