Health Care Assistant - Stanley (DH9, NE16)
Responsibilities
* Promote independence by caring for service users in their own homes.
* Encourage service users to be actively involved in all aspects of their day‑to‑day care.
* Accompany service users to appointments and help them access their local community.
* Prepare meals and snacks to meet the nutritional needs of service users.
* Tidy service users’ homes, assisting with basic domestic care tasks and ensuring a pleasant living environment.
* Support personal care tasks, including bathing, pad changes and incontinence care.
Qualifications
* Trustworthy, compassionate, patient and adaptable.
* Multiskilled – cooking and cleaning skills are a bonus.
* Clear Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references.
