Location: Wernick Group Ltd, Unit 3A, Kenfig Industrial Estate, Margam
The Wernick Group is the UKs largest and longest‑standing national provider of permanent and temporary modular buildings and site accommodation. They are looking for an experienced graphic designer to join their in‑house design team within the marketing department, reporting directly to the Graphic Design Manager. The role involves creating high‑quality creative assets across multiple formats for all Wernick Group companies, projects, products and business units.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver a wide range of marketing materials, including adverts, brochures, catalogues and leaflets.
* Produce high‑quality professional Service Level Agreements, tender and proposal documents.
* Create and maintain visual content for the company website and intranet.
* Design engaging graphics for social media, email campaigns and digital channels.
* Produce print and digital mail shots, ensuring brand consistency throughout.
* Support marketing events, exhibitions and internal campaigns with creative assets.
* Independently and confidentially create short‑form video/motion graphic content.
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines.
* Collaborate closely with the Graphic Design Manager and wider marketing team and other departments.
* Support and mentor junior members of the design team when required.
* Support and assist with the ever‑growing brand development across the Group.
* Maintain high creative standards and consistent brand application across all outputs.
Essential Criteria
* Degree in graphic design or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
* Proven experience working at a middle‑weight graphic designer level within an in‑house or agency environment.
* Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential).
* Experience working across both print and digital media.
* Team player, with strong organisational skills.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Competent in Microsoft Office.
Desired Criteria
* Experience with video editing or motion graphics is a distinct advantage.
