The Role
* Advise on complex, high-value engineering and construction projects across capital, operational, and turnaround programmes.
* Draft, negotiate, and settle contracts and other industry-standard agreements.
* Provide clear, strategic advice on project structures, commercial risk, and regulatory considerations.
* Work closely with project teams and commercial colleagues to strengthen pre-contract decision-making and proactive contract management.
* Support senior legal specialists on technically challenging infrastructure projects.
About You
* Qualified lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX) with previous experience in engineering & construction law.
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills, ideally with contracts.
* Good understanding of legal risk; public procurement knowledge a plus.
* Commercially minded, proactive, and collaborative.
* In-house experience welcome but not essential.
