An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious NursingHome Manager to lead the next stage of the home's journey. The Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, team performance, and commercial success.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing inspirational leadership and direction to the staff team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
* Ensuring full compliance with all CQC regulations and maintaining outstanding standards of care and service delivery.
* Managing the home's financial performance, budgets, and operational efficiency.
* Driving occupancy through effective relationship building, local networking, and strategic marketing initiatives.
* Building strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders.
* Supporting, coaching, and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.
* Leading continuous improvement initiatives with the aim of further enhancing quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience managing a nursing and/or residential care home.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and a proven track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes.
* Demonstrable experience driving quality improvements and service development.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and occupancy levels.
* A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care and creating positive resident outcomes.
* The ability to motivate teams and build a culture of accountability, kindness, and excellence.
NMC registration is desirable but not essential.
