Job Description
* Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote best practices within the workplace.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.
* Provide technical support and expertise to the engineering team as required.
The Successful Applicant
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with different departments.
* Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for mechanical maintenance tasks.
