Job description Transport / Bond Controller Salary: £29,000 Shift: 4on / 4 off (18:00 - 06:00) 48hrs per week Holidays: 20 days per annum Description: Goldstar Heathrow is one of the leading Road Transport Companies operating within Heathrow Airport. We have a comprehensive fleet of vehicles and guarantee to our customers a personal and professional service to meet all of their airfreight and domestic transport needs. Our ideal candidate would be one with good administrative skills and a background in the transport industry. Daily duties will include general administration, planning vehicles and loads, carrying out office tasks, ensuring drivers are kept up-to-date with documents issued by Head Office, be a point of contact for both drivers and customers whilst offering excellent customer service. Duties include: · Handing over from and to the day shift. · Imports and related transactions into the ETSF · Exports including creation of relevant documentation - CSD’s / Pre-alerts · Planning drivers loads and managing drivers · Be a point of contact for all driver queries · Keeping in contact with the drivers throughout the day/night to make sure there are no issues which need communicating · Client interaction and communication including making and receiving calls regarding work matters for Goldstar and our client · Pre-plan work for the drivers during the day shift · Liaise with warehouse team on a plan for the drivers · Query resolution · Maintaining the bond book in correct order for auditing and invoicing purposes · Issuing seals in line with company process, ensuring the log is kept up to date · Keep the computer system up to date for invoicing and referencing · General office administration tasks · Downloading driver tacho cards Job Type: Full-time Pay: Benefits: · Company pension · Employee discount · Free parking · Health & wellbeing programme · On-site parking Schedule: · Night shift Application question(s): · Do you or would you in the future require sponsorship?
