3rd Line Engineer (MSP) – Teesside
Salary: £35 - 42k plus benefits • Hybrid
Role
As a 3rd line engineer, you’ll be based in the Teesside office for this MSP. These have recently won contracts and in turn, needs to grow out their team. This MSP has seen employees progress from apprentices right the way through to directors definitely room for progression and growth.
You'll be working with customers on support with plenty of project work. You have the opportunity to come up with new ideas and products to expand their service offering. We’re looking for an engineer with their finger on the pulse by way of new tech within the industry.
This role is for a 2nd/3rd line engineer who may have hit a glass ceiling in their current company and wants to progress their career. You’ll need to have a what\'s next approach to technology and product offerings as this MSP are looking for someone who can come in and contribute above and beyond support work.
With this being in a managed services environment, the role is end to end and you’ll get involved through design, deployment and then ongoing service so the broader the background the better.
Requirements
We’re looking for a strong Microsoft bias engineer who has experience working within an MSP. As this role is customer facing, this will suit someone with a strong service provider background. An ideal general background includes Windows Desktop and Server, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), AD, Azure, VMware, Networking, etc.
Working pattern
This is an adult environment, so you’re not going to be chained to your desk 5 days a week. This MSP values its staff and allows hybrid working from the start; most engineers prefer in-office for camaraderie.
