We proudly supply AV Hire Production Companies, AV Installers, Systems Integrators and Resellers across the UK, helping them deliver their projects on time, on spec and on budget.
About the Role
We are looking for a commercially focused Marketing Manager to lead and develop our marketing function within our fast‑paced B2B distribution business. This is a hands‑on role, where you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering our marketing strategy, working closely with sales, managing supplier relationships and driving growth across digital channels, events and campaigns. You'll play a key role in supporting the business in achieving its annual growth targets and in developing our marketing team.
* Own and deliver the company’s marketing strategy, aligned to annual growth targets
* Plan and execute multi‑channel campaigns across email, digital, content, and events
* Develop and deliver low‑cost, high‑impact marketing activity with a strong focus on ROI
* Ensure all marketing activity supports sales performance and customer engagement
* Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and their marketing teams
* Lead supplier retros and joint campaign planning, including developing collaborative marketing campaigns, agreeing and managing budgets, coordinating internal campaign delivery and ensuring accurate invoicing of agreed contributions
E-commerce and Digital Growth
* Take ownership of marketing performance and oversee product merchandising across our B2B e‑commerce platform
* Identify and implement opportunities to grow online sales and improve customer experience
* Support the ongoing development of our digital marketing approach
Events and Industry Presence
* Plan and deliver our presence at key industry events including PLASA London, PLASA Focus Leeds and others
* Organise supplier and company‑led events, including product launches and open days
* Ensure events generate leads, sales opportunities and valuable marketing content
* Manage and develop a small but growing marketing team
* Define team structure, roles and priorities as the function evolves
* Support the development of content, PR and campaign execution capability
Content & Brand
* Oversee the creation of blogs, case studies, email campaigns and marketing materials
* Define and guide social media strategy, ensuring content is consistent, relevant and aligned with wider campaigns
* Define and guide our content marketing strategy, including informational videos and product/technology‑focused blogs
* Use content to strengthen brand credibility and industry presence
* Ensure consistent messaging across all channels
* Ensure the Leisuretec brand image, voice and tone are accurately and consistently represented across all channels
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role, ideally within B2B
* A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to align marketing activity to sales outcomes
* Experience planning and delivering multi‑channel campaigns
* Confident managing external stakeholders, particularly suppliers or brand partners
* Hands‑on approach and comfortable setting strategy and executing activity
* Experience with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
* Experience managing or mentoring team members
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
* Experience in Audio, Lighting, AV or technical product sectors
* Experience working with supplier‑funded marketing or co‑op budgets
* Experience delivering events or tradeshow activity
* Competent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and understanding of Premier Pro)
