The role
You’ll take responsibility for the electrical design delivery on multiple building services projects, working closely with colleagues and clients to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading electrical design across a range of building services projects
* Delivering technically robust designs through RIBA Stages 1-4
* Coordinating with mechanical, architectural and other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions
* Liaising directly with clients and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery
* Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of the wider team
* Ensuring compliance with UK regulations and best practice, with healthcare knowledge beneficial
What they’re looking for
* Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within a building services consultancy
* Exposure to projects in healthcare, residential or industrial sectors
* Strong understanding of UK building regulations (knowledge of healthcare standards such as HTM/HBN is advantageous)
* Ability to manage your own workload, work from a brief and deliver to deadlines
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
