Vehicle technician / mot tester

We are presently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle MOT Technician to join our client's established team in Colchester, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Technician looking to progress within a reputable automotive service centre. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive working environment and competitive salary package, along with career development prospects.

Competitive basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Monday to Friday working hours, 8.30am to 5.30pm

No weekend work required

As a Vehicle MOT Technician, your primary duties will include:

Conducting MOTs in accordance with DVSA standards

Carrying out service and repair work efficiently and accurately

Diagnosing vehicle issues and providing solutions

Maintaining accurate documentation of work carried out

Ensuring high standards of vehicle safety and compliance

The ideal candidate for this Vehicle MOT Technician role will possess:

Full NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanics

Proven experience as a MOT Technician

Strong knowledge of current MOT legislation and standards

Excellent attention to detail and work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
