Description
A fantastic opportunity for you to grow your career in farming. We are looking for candidates with a full UK driving license who are looking to grow their career in agriculture as there are opportunities for permanent employment. Each day may bring new challenges and opportunities, including dealing with the British weather
The main duties will include but are not limited to:
Spring calving working on 2 dairy units
Operating farm machinery including tractors and attachments
Monitoring livestock
Monitoring supplies stock e.g. livestock feed etc
Handling livestock and providing appropriate accommodation for them
Working in a team and keeping records.

Interview will be via 1 day work trial.
Entry requirements
You must have a Level 2 in Agriculture or have farming experience.
A full driving licence is essential.
Training to be provided
You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship.
As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in agriculture.
Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning.
You will gain a Livestock Technician Level 3 qualification with further opportunities for training, development and permanent employment upon completion.
Things to consider
This is a physical job within a small team. Activities are carried outside and inside in all weathers. Hours/days will vary depending on business needs.

Working week 5 in 7 days rota with split shifts, a 1 in 3 working weekend with flexible days off.
