Posts are based in Chesterfield, Alfreton and Woodville. These are full‑time roles, however, applications for alternative working hours will be considered. The posts are subject to teachers' pay and conditions.

Inclusion Support Advisory Teachers work intensively with schools to strengthen inclusive practice and enable children and young people to remain successfully included in mainstream settings, particularly where needs are complex and require coordinated, timely support.

Key responsibilities

* Build school staff knowledge and capability to increase inclusive capacity across Derbyshire.
* Provide specialist advice to enable inclusion for children and young people with additional and complex needs.
* Develop, implement and contribute to plans that support access to learning and belonging, including personalised learning, transition and longer‑term support plans (including into adulthood where required).
* Work with headteachers, SENCos, teachers and pastoral teams to shape inclusive learning pathways and support confident progression to the next stage of education.
* Analyse inclusion‑related data to identify vulnerabilities, development needs and effective solutions across schools and services.

* Partner with schools and settings to model best practice and share practical resources and strategies that improve access, progress and inclusion.

It is essential that you refer to the person and job specification for more details on the roles and the experience required.
