Clinical Lead (RGN)
Sunbury on Thames, London
£55,000 per annum +
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a strong and hands-on Clinical Lead to join a well-established elderly care provider within a high-quality nursing home environment.
This role would suit an experienced Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or existing Clinical Lead looking to take the next step within a supportive and progressive organisation.
Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in leading the clinical team, maintaining high standards of care, supporting governance and compliance, and ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred and compassionate care at all times.
This is a highly visible and operational role, requiring a confident clinician who is happy to lead from the front, support the nursing team on the floor and drive clinical excellence across the home
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong clinical leadership and day-to-day support to the nursing and care teams
* Ensure high standards of clinical care, medication management and documentation
* Support with audits, governance and compliance processes
* Mentor, coach and develop nurses and care staff
* Work closely with the Home Manager to drive quality improvement and best practice
* Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals
* Support with safeguarding, care planning and clinical risk management
* Assist with staff supervisions, competency assessments and training
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN
* Strong clinical knowledge within elderly care/nursing home settings
* Previous experience as a Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or Clinical Lead
* Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Hands-on and approachable management style
