Salary: Around £50,000 base + percentage of service charge

You will lead the kitchen of a busy, well loved independent hotel with a strong local reputation and consistent trade.

4. Main event space for up to 350 covers
5. 7 additional function and meeting rooms
6. High volume service across dining, events and conferences

7. Brigade of 7 chefs
8. Experienced Senior Sous Chef in place
9. Shared leadership approach where you support and elevate each other
10. Steady flow of 30 to 40+ a la carte covers per service, plus functions
Your day to day
11. Lead service across a la carte, banqueting and events
12. Set menus that guests return for
13. Keep standards high and consistent
14. Control food cost, GP and stock
15. Manage rotas and kitchen organisation
16. Develop and mentor your team
17. Ensure smooth compliance with HACCP and food safety
What you bring
18. Experience as Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready for the step up
19. Background in busy hotels or high volume kitchens
20. Confidence running both events and restaurant service
21. Hands-on leadership style
22. Passion for building a motivated, stable team
