The role
As an Assembly Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling and testing Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, main gears and side stays, all while maintaining a high standard of quality for each componentm along with FOD compliance.
You'll work on a regularly rotating shift pattern, covering dayshifts and nightshifts (which include a premium shif payment of 38.5% of your salary).

You'll get a salary rise based on your knowledge - you'll initially receive a starting salary of £35,787 which will increase to £37,839 as soon as you complete your training, which is usually between 18-24 months.

Requirements
You'll already have Fitting experience from a previous role, ideally in an Aerospace or Automotive environment.
A completed NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
The ability to follow technical drawings, specs, procedures and test instructions.
A desire to learn and understand the basic principles of production flow likes and takt times.
Knowledge of COSH and flow line methodologies is ideal but not essential.
