Kitchen Porter Caledonian is seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Porter to join our friendly kitchen team at the Caledonian Island Hotel in the Isle of Wight. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen. Your work will help ensure high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety, enabling the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience for our guests. Key responsibilities include: Keeping all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, stoves and walls, clean and sanitised. Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors at the start and end of shifts. Ensuring food and supply storage areas are kept clean, safe and well organised. Supporting chefs with basic food preparation as required. Removing kitchen waste and ensuring correct disposal. Washing dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment, and loading/unloading dishwashers. Assisting with the receipt of deliveries and organising stock within the kitchen.
