Overview
Pay Scale: Band 7 (Scale Points 32)
Actual salary: £22,094 - £23,923 per annum (Full Time Equivalent: £26,141 - £28,305). Hours: 37 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only. Required to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Be the main contact for parents/carers during the school day.
* Support the Heads of House in monitoring attendance and punctuality of students.
* Investigate specific behaviour incidents, take statements from students where appropriate, and prepare accurate and appropriate documentation to report findings to Heads of House.
* Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) by ensuring all safeguarding issues are dealt with and recorded in line with school policy and procedures.
* Work on school attendance as necessary, e.g. first day contact for targeted cohorts of students.
* Support the inclusion team as required.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* At least 5 GCSEs (equivalent to A*/C) including English and Maths.
* Background knowledge of relevant pastoral work.
