Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Engage with guests to provide recommendations and create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure availability of ingredients.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
* Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to enhance the drink menu.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain health standards in beverage preparation.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests and provide outstanding service.
* A passion for mixology and creativity in developing new drink recipes is highly desirable.
