FM Search & Select Ltd are looking for an experienced and fully qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team, delivering maintenance services across domestic properties in Inverness and the North of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused engineer to become part of a well-established team with a strong pipeline of work across a range of housing contracts. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on gas appliances in domestic properties * Respond to reactive callouts, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally * Complete diagnostic work and repairs to boilers, heating systems, and other domestic gas appliances * Ensure all work is carried out in line with current gas safety regulations and company procedures * Maintain clear records of all work undertaken, materials used, and any follow-up actions required * Communicate effectively with tenants, homeowners, and office staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction * Work independently across a wide geographic area with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency Requirements: * Domestic Gas Qualifications (ACS: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) * Proven experience in domestic gas maintenance and repairs * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * Full UK driving licence * Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively Desirable: * Experience working on housing association or local authority contracts * OFTEC or LPG certification (an advantage but not essential) * Basic multi-trade skills What We Offer: * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Company vehicle and fuel card * Uniform, PPE, and tools provided * Opportunities for overtime and on-call rota * Supportive management and ongoing training How to Apply: If you are a qualified and experienced Domestic Gas Engineer looking for a new opportunity in the North of Scotland, we want to hear from you.
