Located in the heart of Derry City, Da Vinci's Hotel offers a unique blend of local history and riverside charm along the banks of the River Foyle.
We are currently seeking a Receptionist to become a valued member of our dynamic Front office team.
Main Responsibilities
· Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
· Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
· Answer phone calls and respond to emails, messages, and other guest inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.
* Maintain The Da Vincis "Tone of Voice" and diction while answering all phone calls, upholding the culture level of standards set by the management team.
* Maintain a good knowledge of the hotels services and current packages/room rates in order to deal with daily client bookings and enquiries
* Establish strong relationships with the other departments (Reception, Accounts, Sales, etc.)
* To assist in training for new Receptionists teammates in all aspects of their job, including Health Safety procedures; ensure training plans and records are up-to date.
· Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
· Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, and balance daily cash receipts.
· Maintain a clean and tidy front desk area and lobby, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
· Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
· Respond to reservations queries when reservations team are away/off duty.
