(Hematology/Serology, Chemistry/Coag, Micro, & Blood Bank) Surgical Pathology only. Do they need to be a Generalist? No. Do they need to perform Phlebotomy? No. Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties PA Grossing of complex specimens. The focus of this individual will primarily be on the higher complexity specimens: colon cancers, breast cancers, whipples, etc. It will likely not be the lower complexity specimens like gallbladder, appendix, uterus, etc. LIS System (ie.
