We are working with a SEND school in the Swale area to appoint a qualified and experienced SENCO. This role startsin September 2025 on a full-time and permanent contract, offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and proactive professional with a nationally recognised SENCO qualification, proven experience in a similar role, and a strong understanding of current SEND legislation, to lead and develop whole-school SEND strategies, work with staff and help lead plans to create an inclusive environment that supports the wellbeing, progress, and success of all SEND pupils.
To be successful in this SENCO role in Swale area, Kent you will:
* Have an excellent understanding of SEND provisions in school
* Be fully committed to the development of inclusive school wide visions
* Have the ability to manage any school wide behaviour strategies
* Be able to implement and develop comprehensive wellbeing and pastoral plans
* Have up-to-date knowledge of current teaching practices and safeguarding legislation
