I’m working with a leading insights agency that’s looking to bring in an experienced Insight Manager to lead complex projects, own client relationships and deliver commercially sharp insights that genuinely land.
The role
As the Insight Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for a portfolio of qualitative and quantitative projects, managing them end-to-end and ensuring they’re delivered on time, to budget and to a high standard. You’ll be a key client contact, trusted to run accounts, spot opportunities and write winning proposals that respond to real business needs.
You’ll also play a big part in mentoring junior team members and shaping how work is delivered across the agency.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning multiple, complex insight projects from kickoff through to debrief
* Managing and resourcing project teams so work runs smoothly and efficiently
* Leading the development of questionnaires, discussion guides and research tools
* Collaborating with internal creative and video teams to bring insight stories to life
* Overseeing fieldwork to ensure best practice is followed throughout
* Leading qualitative moderation (IDIs, focus groups, online boards, workshops)
* Acting as the main day-to-day client contact on complex programmes
* Building strong, trusted relationships that lead to account growth
* Leading client meetings and workshops with confidence
* Leading analysis across qual and quant projects
* Owning report quality and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
* Line managing and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
* Keeping on top of emerging insight trends, tools and methodologies
* Helping develop commercially viable innovations for the agency
* Supporting the optimisation of new tools and approaches
What they’re looking for
* Strong agency-side experience in marketing or consumer insights
* Confident managing multiple projects and senior clients at once
* Comfortable leading qual moderation and insight storytelling
* Commercially astute with experience owning budgets and proposals
* A collaborative leader who enjoys developing others
Why consider it?
You’ll get real autonomy, exposure to senior clients, and the chance to genuinely influence how insight is delivered. If you’re ready for a step up, or want more ownership and variety in your role, this one’s well worth a conversation.
