We specialise in the management, assurance, and optimisation of M&E assets within complex facilities environments. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Technical Assurance Manager to uphold and enhance the quality of our service offering through effective quality assurance and control practices.
Role Overview
The Technical Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects and deliverables comply with Moston’s QA/QC policy. This role involves conducting technical quality audits, reviewing M&E asset data and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset standards and compliance are maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of M&E assets, SFG20, and CIBSE standards, and come from either an engineering background or have extensive experience in QA/QC roles within facilities or asset management.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular quality audits in line with Moston’s QA/QC policy.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, including SFG20 and CIBSE guidelines.
* Review technical documentation and asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Provide guidance on asset lifecycle management and compliance assurance.
* Identify and report on areas of risk or non-conformance and drive corrective actions.
* Support the continuous improvement of QA/QC processes across the organisation.
* Collaborate with surveying teams and clients to uphold quality expectations.
* Maintain accurate audit records and generate detailed technical assurance reports.
* Stay up to date with relevant legislation, standards and best practices in the asset management and FM sectors.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in a QA/QC role focused on M&E assets, or an engineering background.
* Strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical assets and systems.
* Familiarity with SFG20 maintenance standards and CIBSE guidelines.
* Background in facilities management or asset management consultancy is essential
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and asset management systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
